Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program or 4 years of trainee experience as substitute.
• Five years minimum experience as a journeyman.
• Experience performing standard trade-related procedures.
• Knowledge of building codes and OSHA safety practices.
• California driver license with DMV Pull Notice; DMV record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to journeymen and Zone Maintenance Technicians.
• Perform standard plumbing procedures and determine repair/ replacement needs.
• Estimate materials for specific job components.
• Train journeymen and other employees on skills as required.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule plumbing installations.
• Maintain clean, safe job sites and manage tools and supplies.
• Prepare reports/maintenance records and perform related duties.
