Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a highly skilled plumber for Cincinnati, OH to diagnose, install, and service plumbing in residential and light-commercial settings. You will work under supervision with a field supervisor or GM, ensuring code-compliant work and excellent customer satisfaction.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, 4+ years' plumbing experience, and EPA/safety certifications. Licensed plumbers with strong math, reading diagrams, and problem-solving abilities are encouraged

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with on-the-job and formal classroom training in plumbing.
• 4+ years' experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation.
• Plumbing and/or gas license as required by local, state, provincial, or national regulations.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Current knowledge of and continuing education in national, state, and local plumbing code regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Maintains and repairs plumbing systems carrying water, steam, chemicals and fuel in heating, cooling, and other piping systems; tests for leaks.
• Assembles pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using couplings, clamps, and welding equipment.
• Locates and marks the position of pipe installations using measuring instruments and cuts openings.
• Installs pipe assemblies and fixtures using hand or power tools; mounts supports to keep pipes in place.
• Reviews blueprints, building codes, or specifications to determine work details and sequence.
• Directs helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of plumbing systems.
• Maintains current plumbing license and adheres to governmental regulations.
