Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced plumber to diagnose, service, and install plumbing systems in residential and light‑commercial settings. You will read blueprints, ensure code compliance, and promote our products and services to customers.

The ideal candidate has extensive plumbing experience, state licenses as required, EPA safety certifications, and is comfortable training others while managing time effectively and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent with plumbing training in construction, maintenance, commercial and residential environments.
• Seven years’ experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation plus on-the-job training.
• Plumbing and/or gas license as required by regulations.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Ongoing knowledge of plumbing codes (national, state, local).
• Proficient with mechanical aptitude and operation of plumbing tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of machines/tools used in construction or repair of structures.
• Basic math skills and metric/standard measurements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and install plumbing in residential and light‑commercial environments.
• Assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures per codes and specs.
• Promote products and services to customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Work under supervision of Field Supervisor or General Manager.
• Identify and resolve customer problems in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
• Inspect systems to locate leaks and potential failures.
• Coordinate with helpers for preassembly and installation tasks.
• Review blueprints and codes to determine work procedures.
• Ensure company vehicles and tools are maintained and stocked.
