Job summary

Georgia Tech in Atlanta is seeking a Plumber II to inspect, repair, install and maintain plumbing and piping systems and related equipment across facilities. You will work on sewer and domestic water, gas and hot water or chilled water systems, coordinating with other trades as needed.

This role requires four to six years of related experience, a valid Georgia Driver's license, and knowledge of U.S. postal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; valid Georgia Driver's license.
• Four to six years of job-related experience.
• Master plumbing license and backflow certification preferred.
• Technical diploma in plumbing or mechanical field.

Responsibilities

• Install/repair/maintain sewer and domestic water systems, pumps, valves, and storage tanks.
• Operate gas/propane burner systems and related piping components.
• Maintain hot water reheat or chilled water systems and air compressors.
• Coordinate resources and provide direction to Plumber I personnel.
• Read prints, drawings, and schematics; ensure safety and compliance.
