Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician with PLC experience to install, maintain, and repair production and facility equipment on a day shift at our Indiana plant. The role emphasizes strong PLC troubleshooting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The position requires a Journeyman maintenance background or equivalent experience, MIG/TIG welding knowledge, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Maintenance status or 4–10 years of related experience.
• Strong PLC capability for troubleshooting, diagnostics and programming.
• Experience maintaining MIG/TIG welding equipment and related ventilation systems.

Responsibilities

• Implements and sustains Preventative Maintenance Program on all machines and equipment.
• Responds to and repairs machine breakdowns to keep production running.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and logic-based control issues to root causes.
