Job summary

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC is seeking a PLC Programmer to author, modify, and commission PLC programs and Ignition SCADA projects across the facility. The role serves as the controls department escalation point for complex faults plant‑wide and leads the development of new equipment specifications.

The fellow will mentor technicians, rotate as an instructor for the Creekstone Controls Academy, and ensure contractor work meets STD‑AUTO/STD‑IT standards while participating in capital

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial controls experience including PLC programming and authoring of complex logic.
• Authorship of Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix programs including AOIs/UDTs/structured text.
• Ignition SCADA development experience with Perspective screens, Python scripting, and OPC-UA configuration.

Responsibilities

• Author and modify PLC programs across Allen‑Bradley platforms.
• Commission and validate PLC programs on new equipment and major modifications.
• Develop and modify Ignition SCADA Perspective screens and database integration.
• Lead downtime response for complex controls failures plant‑wide and diagnose OT network issues.
• Maintain and update PLC/SCADA documentation and manage change control.
