Job summary

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef is seeking a PLC Programmer to author and modify PLC programs and Ignition SCADA projects across the facility. You will serve as the controls department escalation point for complex faults and lead the development of functional specifications for new equipment.

You will train controls technicians through Creekstone Controls Academy and maintain thorough program documentation, change control, and contractor deliverables compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial controls experience with PLC programming.
• Experience authoring ControlLogix/CompactLogix programs including AOIs/UDTs/structured text.
• Ignition SCADA development with Perspective screens and Python scripting.
• Troubleshooting OT networks and device-level communications.

Responsibilities

• Author/modify PLC programs and commission on new equipment.
• Develop Ignition SCADA projects and database integration.
• Lead downtime response for complex controls failures plant-wide.
• Maintain and audit system documentation and change control.
• Mentor junior technicians and sign off on OJT milestones.
• Rotate as instructor for Creekstone Controls Academy sessions.
