Job summary

Agropur Cooperative seeks an Advanced PLC/HMI Programmer Lead to design, program, and maintain automation systems including DCS, PLCs, and HMIs. You will read and create logic/flow diagrams, troubleshoot equipment, and oversee PLC Automation Technicians.

Role requires 5+ years in related field, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley expertise, and experience with FactoryTalk SE and Intouch. Travel minimal; shift typically Mon-Thu 6am-4pm, Fri 6am-11am, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology or related field required.
• Minimum five (5) years of related experience required.
• Proficient with Rockwell PLC programming and Allen-Bradley hardware.
• Experience with HMI tools such as FactoryTalk and Intouch is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PLC/HMI programs and related documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues with minimal downtime.
• Lead and train PLC Automation Technicians; provide technical guidance.
• Review P&IDs, instrument specs, and electrical drawings for accuracy.
