Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Senior PLC Engineer in Reno, NV to lead industrial technologies and coordinate process expertise across the site. You will manage industrial teams, drive the site industrial plan aligned with the MTP, and push standardization programs for products and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
4+ years PLC programming experience in high-speed industrial environments.
Experience with Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, ABB or Kuka robotics preferred.
Experience with VFDs and vision systems (Keyence or Cognex) preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for industrial technologies of its perimeter.
Coordinate interfaces between site, PG/PL/RO/platform and the Process Expertise Center.
Manage industrial teams at site (plant, production and industrialization).
Manage the industrial plan of the site in line with the MTP.
Coordinate standardization programs for product and process.
