Job summary

Briggs & Stratton is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems across production lines and facilities. You will service HVAC and electrical systems, fix leaks, and tune hydraulic circuits to keep equipment performing like new.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of technical experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Fluency in English and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Service HVAC and electrical systems and fix leaks as needed.
• Diagnose PLCs and autonomous controls to restore production flow.
• Fabricate parts in the machine shop and perform tool modifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors to resolve complex problems.
• Coach and train teammates and provide performance feedback to supervisors.
