Job summary

Briggs & Stratton, LLC. seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment and to set up a variety of production machinery to ensure consistent, quality output.

You will work closely with engineers and external vendors, monitor safety and quality, and train staff while performing routine process adjustments as needed to keep parts in specification.

Qualifications

• 3 years of technical experience using mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills.
• Proficient use of basic tooling practices and applications.

Responsibilities

• Instructs, monitors and communicates safety, quality and production requirements.
• Performs automation, robotics, and machine shop fabrication duties.
• Collaborates with engineers and external vendors to resolve complex process or equipment issues cost-effectively and promptly.
• Maintains statistical process charts and analyzes trends to adjust processes or equipment.
• Trains employees, assigns work, and provides performance feedback to supervisors.
• Performs other duties as assigned
