Job description

• Conduct quality checks on plated parts using various inspection methods (e.g., thickness gauges, visual inspection) to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot process issues, implement corrective actions, and document findings.
• Technical:
• Understand and interpret plating process parameters and technical drawings.
• Conduct routine maintenance on plating equipment, including cleaning, calibrating, and identifying potential malfunctions.
• Stay updated on new plating technologies and industry best practices.
• Leadership:
• Mentor junior plating technicians on proper procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the plating team on plating issues
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain records of plating processes, including chemical bath logs, plating parameters, and quality inspection results.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety regulations related to hazardous chemicals, proper handling procedures, and personal protective equipment.
