Job description

Role and Responsibilities

We will train a candidate who will take responsibility for and run all aspects of an electroplating production line. The candidate must be able to accurately follow written procedures, adjust bath chemistry, and be able to inspect raw and finished product using a variety of inspection methods and equipment.

An Electroplater will be responsible for:

• Set, start, and shutdown electroplating lines
• Work to achieve scheduling priorities on the line
• Track key metrics to constantly drive continuous improvement
• Work to ensure safe practices and company policies and procedures are being followed
• Work closely with production supervisors to coordinate and schedule tasks/projects
• Work closely with support supervisors to coordinate and schedule tasks/projects
• Work to ensure ongoing success of company maintenance plans and objectives
• Work to ensure ongoing success of company housekeeping and organization objectives
• Read and accurately interpret shop paper, provide feedback on issues and changes
• Perform other assigned duties to achieve the goals of the department and company

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast paced, manufacturing job-shop. A variety of chemical baths are used on manufacturing floor on a daily basis and proper care and focus must be taken to ensure safety. Communication and teamwork are highly valued within the company as well as the push for continual improvement.
