This remote role partners with Account Executives to deliver opinionated strategies for platforms, systems, compute and storage in a hybrid cloud world. The candidate will advise on current challenges, design architectures, and lead proposals for clients. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in technical roles and 5+ years in presales, with VMware,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical role with 5+ years in a presales role, with VMware, Nutanix, cloud, Kubernetes and data protection experience.
• Experience configuring, deploying and/or operating public cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing enterprise compute, storage and cloud solutions in complex environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Preferred: presales with channel organizations (reseller, solution provider, systems integrator).

Responsibilities

• Understand client challenges and align systems and platforms to address them.
• Work with Account Executives to prepare and present proposals.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with client technical leaders.
• Architect and design systems, storage and cloud solutions with detailed specs.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure accurate deployments.
• Provide inputs for financial models to support client investment analysis.
