Job summary

Waabi seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager for Platform Software to own program-level execution across hardware platforms, coordinating embedded systems, onboard software, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely platform readiness.

You will define integrated plans, manage dependencies, and report to executives. The role includes building scalable processes, cross-functional roadmaps, and driving a Path to Green with data-backed decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical program management experience.
• Experience aligning teams with different cadences (robotics, AV, IoT, etc.).
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Ability to build cross-functional program structure from scratch.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executives and engineers.
• Experience in autonomous vehicles or robotics.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and software constraints.
• Hands-on with Jira, Asana, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain integrated platform software program plans covering key milestones, cross-team dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Hardware Platform Managers to align physical infrastructure, onboard software, and embedded systems across platforms.
• Capture stakeholder inputs and integrate into program plans before design commitments lock in.
• Build dependency maps and assign owners/ETAs for all dependencies.
• Own reporting into executive forums and surface risks with data-backed Path to Green options.
• Track platform software releases, bring-up, and test campaigns with milestone alignment.
• Develop cross-functional roadmaps for interdependent timelines across platforms.
• Champion tools to capture a single source of truth for program work across programs.
• Establish scalable tracking mechanisms suitable for fleet-scale programs.
