Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to scale compute, storage, and networking for manufacturing platforms across Starship, Starlink, Starshield, and Terafab.

You will own reliability, stability, and scalability while partnering with software and site teams to deliver operable, maintainable systems. The ideal candidate has strong Python and Linux skills, experience with infrastructure as code, containers, and proactive incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, information systems, or engineering OR 7+ years of SRE/DevOps experience.
• 3+ years of Python experience with Python-based frameworks.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and server administration.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, upgrade, operate, maintain, and scale compute, storage, and networking for manufacturing systems across programs.
• Manage infrastructure as code and use observability to monitor platform health.
• Design for reliability, stability, and scale; identify bottlenecks using measurements.
