Job summary

Cricut is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Infrastructure, to own the AWS architecture, reliability, and scalability across the full stack. You will collaborate with software and lead engineers to set direction, review designs, and raise reliability standards in a globally distributed team.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, infrastructure-as-code, and mentoring engineers to build scalable, performant systems.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in software engineering or site reliability engineering.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and practical prompt engineering.
• Strong backend software engineering background, preferably with microservices (.NET strong plus).
• Deep experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Kinesis, VPC, IAM).
• Proven IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, reliability, and scalability of AWS infrastructure across the full stack.
• Shape roadmap and technical strategy for platform infrastructure with engineering teams.
• Drive security, cost management, and scalability in the AWS environment.
• Champion infrastructure-as-code across the organization.
