Groq, Inc. is seeking a senior security engineering leader to drive the architecture of hardware-rooted security across firmware, hardware, and software layers. You will partner with hardware, firmware, systems, platform, and security teams to solve complex trust challenges at the computing stack foundation.

You will influence secure boot, device identity, attestation, and protected workload execution while shaping security patterns and risk decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of systems, firmware, hardware, or security engineering experience with deep expertise in low-level security domains.
• Deep expertise in hardware-rooted trust, attestation, TEEs, or confidential computing.
• Experience setting technical direction and owning security architectures across hardware and software stacks.
• Strong understanding of boot chains, platform integrity, and secure provisioning in trusted environments.
• Proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Rust, Go, Python or similar for low-level tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and own architecture for security capabilities spanning hardware, firmware, systems software, and protected workload execution.
• Design and build security architectures for hardware-rooted trust, attestation, TEEs, and hardware-backed isolation.
• Architect attestation capabilities that establish and verify trust across hardware, firmware, host, and workload boundaries.
• Partner with hardware, firmware, and systems engineers to shape platform integrity and secure boot.
