Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to own end-to-end endpoint security platforms across Mac, Windows, Linux and virtual desktops.

You will stay hands-on while guiding technical direction and reviews, delivering production-grade software at scale. In this senior role, you will design secure development practices, automate policy deployment with GitOps, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to build auditable, resilient systems

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience building production software in one or more major programming languages.
• Experience managing endpoints: Mac, Windows, Linux, or virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Proficiency with containers, public cloud, and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Familiarity with secure SDLC, CI/CD, and GitOps workflows.
• Ability to lead technically while remaining hands-on in codebase.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production-quality software across Mac, Windows, Linux, and virtual desktops; primary technical contributor for endpoint security platforms.
• Architect and operate a managed binary allowlisting platform deployed via infrastructure-as-code in private clouds.
• Develop and maintain cross-platform endpoint authentication tooling for enterprise proxy infrastructure; support containerized deployment.
• Modernize policy deployment across Windows and virtual desktops using GitOps; build automated pipelines that are auditable.
• Drive technical direction and day-to-day execution; ensure high standards for code quality, security, and resilience.
• Mentor associate engineers through design and code reviews; elevate team capabilities hands-on.
