Job summary

Lucid Software in Salt Lake City is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the Developer Platform strategy, steering how Lucid embeds with tools customers rely on, like Slack, and how our APIs power Lucid AI and ecosystem integrations.

You’ll join a vibrant team of PMs, UX Designers, Engineers, and QA Specialists who value technical foundation and great user experiences. You’ll mentor teammates and keep the roadmap aligned with company strategy, even as new requests arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software Product Management experience.
• Proven track record of leading cross-team platform initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Track record of improving core business and product metrics, especially in B2B SaaS environments.
• Ability to de-risk: can be creative and come up with ways to validate hypotheses quickly.
• Ability to talk with anyone from engineers to enterprise sales reps, solution engineers, executive-level customers, security, internal stakeholders, and end users, each in their own language.
• Ability to understand and discuss technical trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Drive collaboration across UX, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other Product teams.
• Become an expert of and an advocate for our customers, their motivations, goals, and needs.
• Deliver on key business outcomes measured by top level business metrics.
• Own the roadmap across multiple projects, keeping it anchored to company strategy and communicating priority to relevant stakeholders.
• Own product features and/or themes through their creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration.
• Drive qualitative and quantitative research to discover feature ideas and validate them before development.
• Effectively leveraging metrics to understand usage patterns and the effectiveness of features using quantitative analysis to find opportunities for optimization.
• Other duties as assigned.
