Job summary

Salesforce, the leader in AI-powered CRM, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Platform Orchestration focusing on Slack deployment and reliability. You will design and build foundational orchestration systems, apply IaC with Terraform, and work across teams to improve service delivery and fault tolerance.

You have strong backend experience, deep AWS knowledge, and a systems mindset to automate operations, reduce costs, and scale platforms that empower engineering teams to ship confidently.

Qualifications

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (Green Card).
Strong software engineering fundamentals and scalable design.
Experience operating backend systems in production and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end software delivery to improve deployment, management, and observability.
Design and build foundational orchestration systems for reliable, scalable operations.
Develop tools to streamline CI/CD, automate incident workflows, and track service health metrics.
Implement platform solutions using infrastructure-as-code and AWS-native services.
Collaborate with engineering teams to embed platform capabilities into workflows.
