Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Senior Software Manager for the DCIM Platform to lead architecture, development, and delivery across a global engineering organization. You will build a secure, cloud-native DCIM platform on Microsoft Azure that provides real-time operational insights across our data-center footprint.

You will guide hiring, manage cross-functional partners in Product, Security, and Infrastructure, and drive Agile practices, CI/CD, and IoT edge-to-cloud solutions to deliver scalable,

Qualifications

• 10–15 years leading global software engineering teams.
• 10–15 years designing and delivering large-scale, cloud-native, distributed platforms.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and services.
• Experience in industrial IoT, telemetry, and edge-to-cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of MQTT, Modbus, or similar protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global software engineering teams across employees, contractors, and partners.
• Drive architecture and delivery of a secure, cloud-native DCIM platform on Azure.
• Own hiring strategy, interviewing, onboarding, and performance management.
• Deliver multiple product initiatives while meeting roadmaps and timelines.
• Champion Agile practices including Scrum and Kanban.
• Architect highly available, low-latency distributed systems at global scale.
• Build edge-to-cloud IoT/telemetry solutions leveraging Azure components.
• Establish platform observability, monitoring, and DevOps excellence.
• Lead governance, standards, and design reviews with stakeholders.
• Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Manage vendor relationships and team budgets where applicable.
