Job summary

Checkout.com in San Francisco seeks an experienced Solutions/Partner Engineer to own the partner integration lifecycle, from technical discovery to SOW drafting and project management. You will bridge partnerships with product and engineering, advise on platforms, and act as a technical evangelist for integrations including APIs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a solutions/partner/implementation role, payments a bonus.
• Experience with ecommerce, subscription mgmt platforms, and ERPs.
• Strong API-based integration experience across platforms.
• Frontend/backend web tech experience (JS, PHP, C#, or similar).
• DevOps perspective for technical and customer solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborates with product/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the partner integration lifecycle, incl. discovery, SI selection, and SOW drafting.
• Interface between partnerships and product/engineering teams internally and externally.
• Provide SME on merchant platforms, respond to RFPs and tech questions, escalate issues.
• Advise on tech trends, integration gaps, and future platform roadmaps.
• Act as technical evangelist for platform partners.
• Build integrations into tech stacks, including APIs; run debugging and UAT testing.
