Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to own the partner integration lifecycle, interface with product/engineering, and drive API-based integrations with major platforms. You will act as a technical evangelist, help merchants with RFPs, and shape platform roadmaps.

The role requires strong frontend/backend development skills, DevOps understanding, and excellent communication, in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions/partner engineering or similar roles, payments experience preferred.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms, subscription systems, and ERPs.
• Strong API-based integration knowledge and practical coding skills.
• Frontend and backend development experience (JavaScript, PHP, C# or similar).
• DevOps experience from a customer solutions perspective.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with product and engineering teams.
• Fluent English and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the partner integration lifecycle from discovery to SOW for System Integrators.
• Serve as the interface between partnerships and product/engineering teams.
• Provide SME on platforms, assist merchant RFPs and technical questions.
• Contribute to tech roadmaps and identify integration gaps and future features.
• Act as a technical evangelist for platform partners internally and externally.
• Build integrations into tech stacks and APIs; run debugging and UAT.
• Lead technical projects and be the core owner across the integration lifecycle.
