MaintainX is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to shape the technical direction of shared services and drive scalable design across teams. You will partner with product managers, designers and engineers to mold roadmaps and deliver high‑impact APIs and components.

You will own the long‑term health of the platform domain, influence architecture decisions, mentor engineers and elevate reliability, performance and tooling. Proficiency in TS, React and Node.js is essential.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional experience building full‑stack products and leading technical work beyond a single team.
Hands‑on experience with TypeScript, React and Node.js.
Experience designing shared systems that scale and knowing when not to build.
Experience with mobile‑first, responsive development and maintainable, testable code.
Strong written and verbal communication to explain tradeoffs to diverse stakeholders.
Comfort delivering work before the spec is fully settled and using AI tools in the workflow.

Responsabilités

Set the technical direction for shared services and components used across teams.
Design APIs, tools and design system components; drive adoption across teams.
Improve the speed, safety and reliability of build, test and deployment pipelines.
Treat internal engineers as customers; collect feedback and iterate.
Lead the design and delivery of large, ambiguous projects end to end.
Mentor senior staff engineers and raise the bar on tooling and CI/CD.
