Job summary

Bank of America Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager – Patch & Repave Platform to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of an enterprise solution for automated patching and immutable infrastructure.

You will build and guide a high-performing team, align technology strategy with business outcomes, and collaborate with Security, SRE, and product leadership across a complex enterprise environment to improve reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in software/platform engineering with 8+ years leading engineering teams
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale platforms (internal developer platforms, infra automation)
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems fundamentals
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD, release engineering, and automated quality gates
• Working knowledge of immutable infrastructure concepts and/or platform lifecycle automation
• Hands-on familiarity with modern infrastructure ecosystems: Containers/Kubernetes and/or VM platforms
• Technologies: React/Angular - Java Core - MongoDB/REDIS
• Infrastructure as Code and configuration management approaches
• Observability and operational tooling
• Strong collaboration skills across Security, SRE, Infrastructure, and Application stakeholders
• Excellent communication between executive outcomes, product requirements, and engineering delivery
