Job summary

Omnistrate, Inc. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and build our core multi-cloud abstractions. You will work on production infrastructure control planes and partner with customers to launch and scale managed services.

Architect scalable automation, manage provisioning and self-healing across major cloud providers, and collaborate with enterprise technical leads to deliver bespoke infra solutions. Strong Go, Kubernetes, and IaC experience required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on backend/platform engineering or distributed systems experience.
• Production experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm), infrastructure automation, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with customers on B2B products.
• Strong coding proficiency in Go for building internal tools and platform services.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
• Pragmatic problem-solver in fast-paced environments with clear communication.

Role Overview

We're looking for Senior Platform Engineers to design and build our core multi-cloud abstractions. You'll work directly on production infrastructure control planes while partnering with customers to help launch and scale their managed service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable infrastructure automation and multi-cloud orchestration control planes


• Automate full service lifecycles—provisioning, scaling, self-healing, and maintenance—across major cloud providers


• Work closely with technical leads at enterprise customers to understand their requirements and engineer custom infrastructure solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering, platform engineering, or distributed systems


• Production experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm), infrastructure automation, and robust CI/CD pipelines


• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with customers on B2B products


• Strong coding proficiency in Go (or equivalent systems languages) for building internal tools and platform services


• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures


• Pragmatic problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and communicates clearly with both team members and customers


• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field preferred

Desired Qualifications

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure engineering and architecture


• Hands-on experience with cloud security architecture, IAM, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks


• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals, operator patterns, and container orchestration at scale

• Phone Screen: An informal conversation to introduce the role, discuss your past projects, and answer questions to ensure a mutual fit. May include a brief live coding exercise.


• Technical Interviews: An open-ended system design discussion along with an additional hands-on programming session.
