Strategic Staffing Solutions is looking for a seasoned Production Support Engineer to lead support efforts for over 20 applications. This role demands 10+ years of platform engineering experience, with proficiency in SRE, DevOps, and tools like Grafana and Splunk. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days on-site in Charlotte, NC. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in cloud-native environments and a strong capability for mentorship and managing production incidents. Visa sponsorship is available, and the candidate will be part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of platform engineering and production support experience.
• 5+ years of experience with OpenShift, Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, Python.
• 5+ years of experience creating observability dashboards using Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics.
• 5+ years of experience in incident management using AIOps, ServiceNow.
• 4+ years of experience with distributed systems and cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead production support efforts across a portfolio of 20+ applications.
• Design and build advanced observability dashboards.
• Proactively identify risks through gap analysis and predictive alerting.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed microservices.
• Drive adoption of modern SRE practices including automation.
• Support cloud-native applications running on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development teams during release cycles.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices.
