Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience developing, delivering, and supporting enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing scalable applications and services using Java and Spring.
• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservice-based platforms at scale.
• Proven ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions and roadmaps.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments, drive technical solutions, and deliver initiatives from concept to production.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, and production operations.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and modern application development practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical solution for complex EDE and ACRE capabilities from requirements through production delivery.
• Translate requirements into scalable platform capabilities and implementable work for the engineering team.
• Design, develop, and enhance platform services using Java, Spring, SpEL, Next.js, and related tech.
• Drive architectural evolution and set direction across related services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across product, architecture, and business units.
• Lead technical excellence through reviews, prototyping, and best-practice adoption.
• Mentor junior engineers and share reusable patterns and guidance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, security, and observability.
• Support deployment, release management, and incident response activities.
