Job summary

TEKFORTUNE INC in Cleveland is seeking a Senior Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain complex IT platforms across on-prem and cloud. You will collaborate with DevOps and production teams to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient services.

Responsibilities include managing CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD), IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Chef), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher), and monitoring/logging (Nagios, Splunk, ELK).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years engineering experience in platform/infrastructure, including on-prem and cloud.
• Strong expertise with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher) and CI/CD (Git/GitOps, ArgoCD).
• Proficient with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef) and monitoring/logging (Nagios, Splunk, ELK).
• Scripting skills: Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with Azure cloud and related security/resiliency practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve platform hardware, software, and network components.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot to improve platforms.
• Manage and configure DevOps tools to support processes.
• Collaborate with teams to update, troubleshoot, and maintain environments.
• Design and implement automated platform delivery and recovery workflows.
• Develop security, resiliency, and disaster recovery policies.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
