Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a skilled engineer for the Ship Integration Engineering team. You will develop PSIE products such as IBDs, CSELs, system definitions and CDDs, and act as the PSIE responsible engineer for selected programs.

The role includes technical reviews of GFI, interfacing with government documents, and leading PSIE engineers and planners. This is a hybrid onsite position with occasional travel and required DoD clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related field.
• 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with developing engineering products for platforms.
• Familiarity with system interface definition and analysis.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Interface Block Diagrams (IBDs), Combat System Equipment Lists (CSEL), System Definitions, and Configuration Definition Documents (CDDs).
• Perform as PSIE responsible engineer for programs supported by SEMS Ship Integration Engineering.
• Perform technical reviews of Government Furnished Information (GFI) and other technical documentation with impact on PSIE engineering products.
• Provide engineering support as a PSIE responsible engineer for ship classes and land based sites as needed.
• Lead PSIE engineers, engineering planners and aides in the development and delivery of PSIE products.
• This is a hybrid position with onsite requirements in our Mount Laurel, NJ site.
• Position may require infrequent travel to domestic and international SI&T locations.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance at the Secret Level.
