Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Sr. Platform Engineer (Mission Partner Environment) to deliver solutions for our clients, leading design and deployment of innovative IT capabilities.

The role requires Top Secret clearance, 10+ years of experience, and expertise in DevSecOps, cloud and hybrid-cloud platforms, automation, and Kubernetes. Remote with up to 50% travel; salary $170k–$230k depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated experience in Infrastructure Storage Provisioning and Management, VDI Deployment, AD/GPO, Linux/Windows Admin, Endpoint Management, and Continuous Monitoring (SCAP/ACAS).
• DevSecOps experience deploying cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions with automation, containers, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical contributions to delivery efforts, designing and implementing solutions that address customer needs and contract objectives.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Solutions, Delivery Services, and Capability teams to bring solutions from proposal to delivery.
• Drive outcomes as a senior individual contributor within a delivery-focused team across Defense programs.
