Job summary
Disney Cruise Line - The Walt Disney Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Content Platform Engineering team, focusing on building and enhancing platform capabilities for Disney’s media services.
You will design scalable content workflows, data pipelines, and platform services supporting media-centric workflows, including media transformations, video processing, security, and content management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C/C++.
- Experience with REST APIs or GraphQL.
- Experience with AWS core services (S3, Lambda, EC2).
- Solid understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with Docker, Gitlab-CI, Terraform/CloudFormation, and Jenkins.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with data stores like MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Postgres, DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum; strong communication skills.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business goals.
- Provide production support to ensure platform stability and uptime.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote collaborative learning.
