Job summary

Anvilogic, a Palo Alto-based AI cybersecurity startup, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Platform to design, build, and operate our platform services on AWS. You will work on critical systems that authenticate users, connect to customers' data stores, and manage roles and permissions across the product.

Our platform services are Java-based and run on AWS; security, reliability, and scale are core to everything you build.

Qualifications

4+ years of software development experience.
Professional Java development experience.
Experience with AWS and relational databases (Postgres/MySQL).
Experience with big data pipelines such as Kafka and/or Kinesis.
Ability to define non-functional requirements and measure SLOs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Build and design the next generation of Anvilogic products to meet growth and customer needs.
Debug and solve production issues across services and stack levels.
Collaborate with product management to map non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to build features at large scale and improve engineering standards.
Mentor others and share platform and security best practices.
