Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Platform Engineer I for its Platform Engineering and DevOps organization. Remote from the U.S., you will design and evolve capabilities enabling secure, scalable cloud adoption and efficient software delivery.

This full‑time role focuses on automation, reliability, and self‑service tooling, with salary $138,000–$143,000 per year on a W2 basis. You will implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and platform patterns across Azure IaaS/PaaS, containers, and observability, while

Qualifications

3+ years in cloud platform or DevOps roles with hands‑on IaaS/PaaS and containers.
Experience designing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices and cross‑team collaboration.
Strong troubleshooting and platform reliability improvement skills.
Knowledge of identity/access management and securing cloud resources.
Experience with observability and monitoring for cloud platforms.
Preferred exposure to cloud migration and modernization.

Responsibilities

Design and implement platform environments across cloud compute, storage, networking, and runtime layers (Azure IaaS/PaaS).
Deploy and operate containerized platform services and automation frameworks.
Develop and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines and self‑service tooling.
Enforce security controls, IAM patterns, and compliance guardrails.
Support observability via logging, monitoring, and performance diagnostics.
Collaborate with teams to enable automated deployment patterns and cost optimization.
Contribute to APIs and abstraction layers for platform services.
Troubleshoot platform issues and perform root cause analysis.
