Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Platform Engineer I to join our Platform Engineering and DevOps team. This remote, permanent role focuses on designing and evolving capabilities for secure, scalable cloud adoption and efficient software delivery. The position supports platform engineering, developer self-service, and continuous improvement of cloud reliability.

Salary: $138,000 - $143,000/yr. w2. Remote worker guidelines apply, with a focus on reliable home-based infrastructure and secure access.

Qualifications

3+ years in cloud platform engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or DevOps.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and automated provisioning.
Azure IaaS/PaaS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement and contribute to platform environments across cloud compute, storage, networking, and runtime layers leveraging Azure IaaS and PaaS.
Deploy and operate containerized platform-native runtime services.
Implement infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
Develop and maintain reusable platform components and automation frameworks.
Enable compliance, governance, monitoring, and cost optimization.
