Job summary

Stord is seeking an engineer for the Platform Services team who will shape how fast other engineers move across product lines through shared services. You translate architectural direction into working software, define ownership patterns, and enable reliable integration with product teams.

You will own technical roadmaps, build automated feedback loops, and craft developer tooling with a strong emphasis on autonomy, reliability, and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• Experience at infrastructure or platform layer influencing codebase maintainability.
• Proven work releasing agents in production-adjacent workflows with real constraints.
• Ability to define problems, ship, measure, and iterate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy for unifying product suites into shared services.
• Serve as the go-to technical resource for product teams integrating with platform services.
• Build and improve MCP integrations, shared libraries, and automated tooling for autonomy.
• Improve developer experience with tooling, golden paths, and scalable scaffolding.
• Evaluate tools and embed them into engineering practice to raise reliability.
