Job summary

IPSY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Digital Experience team. You will design, build, and support platform services using Next.js / TypeScript / React, with Kong API Gateway and AWS deployments, partnering with Infrastructure and Frontend teams on IPSY's modern platform stack.

This is a platform engineering role for a strong TS/React engineer seeking breadth across gateway services, mobile, observability, analytics, performance, and AI enablement.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries or internal platform components.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD and deployments on Netlify or Vercel, in partnership with Infrastructure teams.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog), product analytics or experimentation platforms (e.g., Statsig and Amplitude).
• A creative, precise problem solver with a strong focus on building modern, scalable platform solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize Kong API Gateway services and cloud deployments across AWS, Netlify, and Jenkins.
• Build and support the mobile application ecosystem (React Native) ensuring platform reliability.
• Evolve the experimentation and analytics platform to measure engagement and run experiments using tools like Statsig and Amplitude.
• Drive performance improvements across platform services and customer-facing surfaces for reliability and user experience at scale.
• Contribute to AI enablement across the platform with safe tooling and patterns.
