Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer III to design and deliver trusted, scalable technology products within Corporate Technology’s Employee Platforms team.

You will build and operate container platforms using Docker and Kubernetes, and develop Linux-based CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability, security, and speed. Responsibilities include managing artifacts with Artifactory, provisioning infrastructure with Terraform, and supporting MySQL and Kafka in production.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a DevOps/Platform/SRE/Infra role.
• Strong experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Artifactory and artifact promotion practices.
• Solid Linux fundamentals and scripting.
• Proven delivery of CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment.
• Hands-on Terraform provisioning (modules, state, environments).
• Experience with MySQL and Kafka in production environments.
• Experience with observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate container platforms using Docker and Kubernetes, including deployments, scaling, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and maintain Linux-based CI/CD pipelines (build, test, package, deploy).
• Manage artifact lifecycle using Artifactory (publishing, retention, access controls).
• Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform (versioning, drift detection).
• Support MySQL and Kafka components in production, including basic configuration and monitoring.
• Improve observability with logging, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerts.
• Configure load balancers and traffic management patterns.
• Drive automation across environmental provisioning, deployment, and remediation.
• Collaborate with application teams, security, and infra partners to improve platform stability.
