Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead offshore operations for Infrastructure Intelligence and Analytics platforms in the US. You will oversee production support, data pipelines, and cost optimization while mentoring offshore engineers and shaping architecture.

Required are extensive AWS experience, Terraform/CloudFormation, Python automation, and strong leadership skills to drive reliability and efficiency across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of platform/infrastructure engineering experience with lead role.
• Strong AWS expertise (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Glue, Athena, EMR, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager).
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Linux, CI/CD, Git.

Responsibilities

• Offshore owner for production support, incident management, and platform availability.
• Monitor data pipelines; ensure data quality, freshness and timely AI analytics access.
• Build dashboards for system health and AWS/cloud cost tracking.
• Lead and mentor offshore engineers; develop runbooks and support procedures.
• Collaborate with onshore teams for seamless operations and handoffs.
