Qualifications

• 5+ years in public cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• 5+ years Linux deployment and automation at scale.
• 5+ years software engineering using Python and Go.
• Kubernetes operations, deployments, upgrades, security, observability.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Security/compliance knowledge for cloud-native infra.
• Strong architecture, build, and tradeoff analysis skills.
• Ability to own programming, automation and testing plans.
• Mentoring and cross-team technical influence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to build, deploy, and support large-scale containerized workloads.
• Deliver secure, compliant, and cost-efficient platform solutions.
• Integrate monitoring, alerting, and reporting to improve performance.
• Support dev teams with onboarding to container-based solutions.
• Work in an Agile operations frame, balancing sprints and ops.
• Lead platform engineering efforts with focus on delivery and reliability.
• Troubleshoot multi-system issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Lead architecture reviews for container platform capabilities.
• Own full-system builds for platform services (compute, network, storage, observability, security).
• Act as tech lead for complex platform initiatives and cross-team reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotations and vendor reviews to optimize performance.
