DraftKings is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and evolve the tooling, systems, and infrastructure that enable engineering teams to deliver software at scale. You will work with C#/.NET Core, Kubernetes, GitOps, and cloud technologies to solve infrastructure challenges and automate platform solutions that power DraftKings products.

You'll design, deploy, and maintain platform capabilities, strengthen observability, and mentor peers while prioritizing reliability and performance.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, ideally with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience building and supporting distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern deployment practices.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and debugging distributed environments.
• Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP).
• Observability tooling experience (Datadog/ELK).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain platform capabilities used by engineering teams.
• Develop clean, scalable software using C# and .NET Core.
• Automate deployments and manage Kubernetes environments (Helm).
• Apply GitOps to improve deployment automation and reliability.
• Build scalable solutions for distributed systems and microservices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed environments.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices.
• Improve observability, performance testing, and deployment strategies.
