Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production systems.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages and a modern development ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, including their failure modes and consistency tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the data and infrastructure platform for facial recognition.
• Build pipelines that ingest and store petabyte-scale data.
• Run and scale containerized services on a container orchestration platform.
