Job summary

Highbrow LLC seeks a Sr Platform Engineer to design and implement a scalable, multi-cloud platform for a T-Mobile client in Frisco, TX. The role emphasizes high performance, reliability, and secure cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments.

You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with security, product, and enterprise teams to deliver resilient data pipelines, streaming, caching, and automation at scale.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, on-prem).
• Experience architecting large-scale distributed systems for performance and scalability.
• Deep expertise in DML operations across Postgres, Oracle, and Cassandra.
• Advanced proficiency with Kafka and event streaming architectures, including schema registry management and consumer design.
• Mastery of distributed caching architectures and cache invalidation strategies.
• Strong command of Infrastructure-as-Code and automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Advanced scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• In-depth understanding of observability, reliability, and data-driven automation at scale.
• Solid grounding in networking, identity, and cloud security principles.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve hybrid and cloud platform architecture for high performance and resiliency.
• Define platform modernization and migration strategies aligned with cloud transformation goals.
