Job summary

BeyondTrust is seeking a Sr Software Development Engineer to design and maintain scalable cloud-based services that support multiple product lines, including authentication and authorization, onboarding, RBAC, and platform APIs.

You will drive reliability, observability, and automation using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Datadog, while collaborating across teams to align platform capabilities with business needs and achieve high performance.

Qualifications

Enterprise-grade cloud-based systems experience.
Experience with API services, distributed systems, and microservice architectures.
Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (C#, Go, or Java).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and SRE practices.
Infrastructure as Code and DevOps tooling exposure.
Observability and monitoring with standard tools.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices supporting platform-wide capabilities.
Enhance reliability and observability with robust monitoring and alerting (Datadog).
Utilize IaC tools (Terraform, Terragrunt) to automate cloud provisioning and deployments.
Provide technical leadership in system design and cross-team collaboration.
Drive operational excellence, post-mortems, and continuous improvement.
