Job summary

Insight Global in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to ensure reliability and performance of Azure-hosted platforms. You will design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure, manage AKS environments, and build automated deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, cloud operations, or platform engineering.
3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service.
Experience supporting large-scale production systems.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
Manage and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service environments.
Build and maintain automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Monitor applications and infrastructure using Dynatrace and Azure tools.
Respond to production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and prevent recurring issues.
Automate routine operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Support infrastructure as code through Terraform and Azure Bicep.
Maintain cloud security, documentation, and disaster-recovery procedures.
