Job summary

Quevera is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design scalable, secure cloud platforms in a mission-critical environment. You will work hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, building automated, IaC-driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

This role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and shaping cloud-native operations in a highly secure setting. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and a BS in a technical field, or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, EKS/ECS), and Terraform.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Ruby and automation workflows.
• IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong CI/CD practices with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Linux environments with solid networking and security fundamentals.
• Must hold CWIP IAT Level I certification.
• BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement highly available, automated cloud environments using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code best practices for repeatable deployments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Ansible.
• Lead containerization and orchestration strategies with Docker and EKS.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and deliver solutions aligned to mission goals.
• Mentor teammates and set technical direction.
