Payabli is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Platform to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure and developer experience on AWS. You will define the vision for build, test, deploy, and operate pipelines and environments, then execute with ownership and urgency.

You will drive platform improvements, enable AI-assisted development, and ensure security and scalability as transaction volume grows. Join a high-ownership, fast-moving fintech team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
• Deep AWS expertise with ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and IaC tooling.
• Strong CI/CD experience designing and maintaining deployment pipelines.
• Infrastructure-as-code fluency: declarative definition and versioning.
• Security-minded: network segmentation, least-privilege, secrets management, encryption at rest/in transit.
• Proactive and opinionated: drives improvements and sets standards.
• Strong communicator able to translate infra decisions to business impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure: design, build, operate Payabli's cloud infra for scale and resilience.
• Build the deployment backbone: end-to-end CI/CD with fast, safe releases.
• Make local development exceptional: ensure mirrors production for rapid iteration.
• Enable AI-assisted development: support AI coding agents in a PCI-compliant setup.
• Define and drive the platform roadmap with leadership.
• Harden everything: PCI-DSS scope, network segmentation, secrets management, audits.
• Instrument and observe: monitor, alerting, and observability across systems.
• Multiply the team: write docs, runbooks, and establish standards.
