Job summary

UpGuard is seeking a Platform Engineer to own and evolve the core IT stack, focusing on identity systems, endpoint management, and SaaS platforms. You will automate repetitive tasks, define performance metrics, and maintain a secure-by-default infrastructure while serving as senior escalation for complex issues.

• Experience owning platform services and SaaS estate.
• Strong automation background and ability to remove manual tasks.
• Knowledge of identity, device management, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own platform ownership across Google Workspace, Okta, and MDM for macOS/ChromeOS fleets.
• Architect robust SSO/SAML integrations and scalable role hierarchies.
• Own Cloudflare Zero Trust and secure access policy implementation.
• Build tooling with REST APIs, Python, Apps Script, and n8n to automate tasks.
