Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and deploy our cloud and AI infrastructure, setting standards and growing a capable platform team. The role will codify decisions, mentor engineers, and build the MLOps foundation for AI products.

You will lead architecture decisions, implement IaC conventions, CI/CD, observability, and secure deployment workflows while collaborating with data scientists and leaders in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive DevOps/platform/SRE experience operating production systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience standing up infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in greenfield/early-stage environments.
• Security practices in infrastructure and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build deployment vehicle for cloud and AI infrastructure.
• Set standards for the team to follow.
• Grow engineers into a capable platform team.
• Make foundational decisions on cloud architecture, IaC conventions, CI/CD, observability, on-call.
• Codify decisions to scale beyond individual contributions.
• Mentor engineers in design reviews and DevOps practices.
• Build MLOps foundation for AI products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists and leadership.
